About the salon

The salon occupies the first floor of a condo complex between Belltown and Uptown on Queen Anne Ave., near Key Arena. Owned by Merritt Knapp, a renowned Seattle stylist, In Style by Merritt offers chairs for lease to experienced stylists with an established client base.

About Merritt

For 18 years, Merritt has worked as a professional stylist. His attention to detail and exceptional creativity has earned numerous accolades including the "Outstanding Achievement" award from Sebastian Hair Products.

Merritt has influenced styles in the Pacific Northwest by working as a contributing writer for Northwest Stylist Magazine. In addition to personal hair styling, Merritt has designed hair and make up for production companies, television, fashion shows, and live theatre.
